Denise Morales
MA, Licensed Professional Counselor
Associate Supervised by Dr. La' Morra Cornelius, LPC-S
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Communications and Leadership from the University of Texas at Austin, helping individuals and organizations navigate conflict and communication challenges.

After beginning my career as a life coach, I pursued a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Houston Christian University to expand my ability to support others through life's challenges.

Today, I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, childhood adversity, and personal injury-related concerns. My approach is culturally responsive and integrates Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and somatic-based techniques to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and physical experiences.

I believe therapy should be both supportive and practical, often incorporating coping skills and grounding techniques during sessions. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where clients feel empowered to heal, grow, and move forward with confidence.

Alison Flores
Licensed Master Social Worker,
Under the mentorship of Lizet Benitez, LCSW-S
My journey in the realm of social work began in 2016 within non-profit agencies. From serving as a social services case manager to later becoming a disaster case manager, my path eventually led me to school environments as a dedicated school social worker. It was during this transition that I discovered my passion for working with children and adolescents.
Specializing in culturally diverse backgrounds, my focus lies in assisting children and young adolescents in overcoming life’s obstacles and arming them with the necessary tools to thrive. Graduating from the University of Houston with dual bachelor’s degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders, as well as Psychology, laid the foundation for my career. Continuing my education at the University of Houston, I earned my master’s degree in social work in 2019. Continuously seeking growth opportunities, I am currently pursuing my LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Work) to further enhance mental health support for my clients and their families. Under the mentorship of Lizet Benitez, LCSW-S, I am dedicated to expanding my skills and knowledge in the field.
